Dosatron: proportional dosing without electricity
Dosatron develops water-powered proportional dosing pumps. Installed in a water line, the pump uses the flow of water to draw concentrate from a container and mix it at a selected ratio. The hydraulic drive removes the need for an electrical supply to power the dosing mechanism.
Product range and applications
The manufacturer’s range covers industry, food and hygiene, water treatment, irrigation and animal health applications. Different models support different water flows and dosing percentages, with materials and seals selected for the intended additive. The technology is useful wherever a repeatable mixture must follow variations in water consumption.
Selection and system integration
Check the minimum and maximum water flow, inlet pressure and required dosing ratio. Verify chemical compatibility, viscosity limits and seal version for the actual concentrate. Model suffixes matter when ordering replacement seals or dosing assemblies; pumps with similar names are not automatically interchangeable.
