A ball valve is primarily selected for isolation of a line. Confirm the exact product’s suitability before using it with hot water, cleaning chemicals or another medium. A general ball-valve designation does not establish approval for gas or chemical service.

- Body and seal compatibility with the actual liquid.
- Flow passage, handle clearance and available installation space.
