    Selecting a car wash or cleaning hose

    COMFORT hoses are available in several configurations, including G3/8 and M18x1.5 connections on selected products. These fittings are not interchangeable. Check both ends separately and confirm the male or female arrangement on the chosen variant.

    Match the hose to the application

    • Working pressure: use the rated working pressure of the selected hose assembly. Burst pressure is not a permitted operating pressure.
    • Temperature and medium: confirm suitability for the water temperature and any cleaning chemical used.
    • Length and bore: select for the required reach, flow and hose routing.
    • Connections: match thread type, size and sealing arrangement at each end.
    • Handling: check bending requirements and compatibility with the intended reel or support.

    Pressure and temperature ratings vary by product; no single rating applies to the entire category. Before replacing a hose, identify the existing fittings and operating conditions.

    Compare compatible hose reels, swivel joints and wash guns, checking each component’s individual specifications.
