A complete high-pressure gun combines a trigger gun and a matched lance for water cleaning in pressure washers, self-service car washes and industrial washing systems. Select the assembly for the operating conditions of the complete machine, including its hose, nozzle and pressure-control system.
How to choose the correct assembly
- Pressure, flow and temperature: check the rating of every component against the required operating conditions. The lowest-rated component limits the assembly.
- Hose connection: match thread size, thread type and male or female configuration. Confirm whether the selected version has a fixed inlet or a swivel.
- Lance length: choose a reach suited to the wash bay, vehicle or surface being cleaned, while considering handling and storage.
- Nozzle: check whether a nozzle is included and match its size and spray angle to the pump flow and working pressure.
- Operating mode: confirm that the trigger and any continuous-flow configuration are compatible with the machine.
High-pressure washing and foam application
A water-cleaning assembly should not be selected solely because it resembles a foam gun. Foam application requires compatible dosing and outlet equipment. Compare the stated application and components of the selected product before ordering.
Replacement and maintenance
When replacing an existing assembly, identify its model, inlet connection, lance length and operating parameters. Inspect the hose connection, trigger function and lance for leakage or damage as part of routine maintenance. Follow the equipment manufacturer's instructions for isolation, depressurisation and servicing.
